Welcome To Drug TalkHello my name is Billy and live in north east england. I've been using forums for a long time now and find them full of very useful information. I've decided to make my own forum dedicated to helping people who have issues with drugs. As you can see it's still early days yet but if we all get stuck in we'll have this forum up in no time. im mark, from liverpool.... i do not take drug's and never have (except once i tryed "pot") im a taxi driver in liverpool and meet a lot of people who take lot's of diffrend drug's.... i hope to gain a good knowlege of drug's and learn how to advise people that i pick up when working... this site shoud be a good recource for me to help others. |

I'm Lisa and I was affected very badly by the death of a friend who took an overdose.
I'm getting over it now but I was very depressed afterwards and I know how devastating drug taking can be. I get through by helping others talk about their worries for loved ones addicted to drugs and warning kids in local schools of the dangers of drug taking. |

Hello lisa and welcome to the forum. there is very few of us these days who have not been affected by drugs one way or another. I also have a friend who has overdosed but fortunately he survived and lives to tell the story but not all people are so fortunate. my brother was on Heroin for ten years and i know first hand how upsetting drug use can be. my heart goes out to you and your friends family. feel free to register as a member free of charge and discuss other issues if you wish. | ||

Hello all, i'm K Bee, i'm English but have lived in Europe for a number of years. I came across this forum while surfing around some North East of England sites. Billy, are you from a place called Lumley ? If so then there is a chance i may know you.
My interest in this forum comes from my own and friends personal experiences of drugs and i hope to be able to contribute {infrequently} positively to the forum. For me most of the answers to the issues of drugs comes from Education. As a parent of teenagers this is very important to me. Good luck with the forum. |

Yes i know it, i lived there for the first 16 years of my life, i get back very infrequently these days though. There were never any drugs evident then but i believe it has changed significantly now as is true for whole sections of Britain. |

 Please let me introduce myself. Hello I am an alcoholic/addict. My name is Wrecker69 and I am from Ontario Canada. I have been clean and sober for 5 years as of Dec.6,2006. I found this forum quite by accident ( I think some would call it fate) and to be honest it is the first recovery type forum that I have visited. I may be a little hit and miss with the frequency of my posts as I am a bit busy with school (web design), a relationship, and trying to start a living online, but I would very much like to contribute and learn all I can. Well it is almost 11 pm here and I want to make another post in another section of this forum so I will say good-nite. God bless. Bye for now.
